Regulation (GDPR). (Reglamento General de Protección de Datos – RGPD) gives control to citizens and residents over their personal data. This privacy policy sets out how TAPAS uses and protects any information that you give when you use this website or are in contact with us by mail or any other media.
TAPAS is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

Purposes of processing your personal data
Your personal data be it written or electronic is collected for the purposes of promoting our society, productions and events, the receiving of our newsletter and other marketing/research information, and for members, to send them membership information, as well as for any legal requirements. We only collect information that you choose to freely provide to us such as: your name, postcode, email address, social media handle and details passed to us by payment processing sites such as PayPal for event and membership purposes.
Legitimate interests for processing your personal data
TAPAS needs to collect the above mentioned data for the legitimate purposes of promoting the society, our campaigns (including liaising with the media), the receiving of our newsletter, processing of bookings, ticket sales, membership fees or donations or any necessary information as required to do so by law.
We may use the information you provide to improve our products and services, send you newsletters or information about our services or other information which we think you may find interesting using the contact details which you have provided.
Recipients of your personal data
We do not share personal data other than for publicity or via PayPal for ticket purchases, or membership fees.
Transferring your personal data
Your personal data collected by TAPAS may be stored and processed in Spain. Should TAPAS need to transfer your personal data, TAPAS takes all reasonable measures to ensure that transfers of your personal data are only with parties that also comply with the GDPR.
TAPAS will never sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.
Keeping your personal data
TAPAS will keep the personal data that you have freely provided from the time of provision and until such time that you request such data is no longer held by us. Where a request has been made to delete any data we hold, this will be processed within 30 days. Any necessary legal information will only be held for the requirements of any legal or compliance purposes.
